I came to Jen wanting to change the way I was relating to my exercise and to my food. I have been up and down with my diet for most of my adult life and I saw certain foods as bad and felt shame and guilt when I consumed them. I also knew that I was exercising from an unhealthy place. I was constantly putting myself in adrenaline and fatigue and used exercise as a form of avoidance. For example if I ate a ‘bad’ food, I would punish myself with exercise - so mean to my body! 

Jen is the most comprehensive fitness coach I have ever worked with. She has such a complex understanding of women’s bodies and mindsets/emotions. And with her having her own experience of body dysmorphia and trauma I felt safe to talk to her about everything little thing I experience in that domain. 

With Jen I have completely revolutionised my training and my eating. I have gone from this space of adrenaline fuelled exercise to the point of exhaustion to solid and continuous weight lifting and the right amount of cardio and I even rest between sets now! In terms of my eating I don’t see food as bad, I’m eating enough protein for the first time ever (this was also part of my exhaustion I feel) and Jen has taught me that eating more is actually helping me lose weight and build strength. 

I am super grateful to have her support in my life. I feel completely held in my fitness and in my diet, I can feel Jen’s dedication to women and to making us stronger and healthier and ultimately happier :)
